We are taking you to the Low Country of South Carolina for some classic comfort food – Shrimp and Grits. We use a wonderfully seasoned Andouille Sausage as the base for the dish, along with veal stock to provide additional depth of flavor. The freshly stone ground Non-GMO White Grits provide a smooth, creamy finish. Since the sausage is mildly spicy, we also will be offering a kid’s meal of Chicken Breast, White Grits, and vegetables.
We also are featuring a Southern Strawberry Salad with Pell Farms Strawberries. You may think all strawberries taste alike, until you try Pell's. Roger Pell is the third generation owner/operator Pell Farms, which has been operating since 1930. We get them in the day after picking, after being field-ripened then cooled for the truck ride to us. You can smell the sun-warmed, intense berry aroma emanating from each strawberry. The Southern Strawberry Salad will be served with a Pepper-Jelly Vinaigrette, Toasted Pecans, and Baby Greens. We also will make them available for purchase plain.
